Terms & Conditions

These terms are a contract between you and One Man Holdings LLC, which owns and operates Glowy. By creating an account or using the service you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not use the service.

They should be read alongside our Privacy Policy and our Refunds & Cancellation policy, both of which form part of this agreement.

You must be 18 years of age or older to use Glowy. By using it you confirm that you are. You must also have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement, and you must not be barred from using the service under the laws that apply to you.

You are responsible for your account and for anything done through it. Keep your password to yourself, use an email address you actually control, and tell us at glowy.pics@gmail.com if you think someone else has access.

One account per person. Do not share an account or sell access to one.

By uploading anything to Glowy you confirm and promise that:

• The selfies are of you. Every photograph in a selfie set depicts you, the account holder, and no one else. Uploading someone else’s face to generate images of them is a serious misuse of this service and is prohibited without exception.
• You hold the rights to the reference image, or it is used in a way that is lawful where you are. You are responsible for any copyright, trademark or personality rights attaching to it.
• No minors appear in anything you upload, in any capacity, in either the selfies or the reference.
• The content is not sexually explicit, does not depict violence or abuse, is not defamatory, and does not otherwise break the law.
• You are not uploading a photograph of a public figure in order to generate images of them.

A selfie set is 3–15 photographs. Only a small number from each set are used for any one generation.

Glowy sends your reference image to an AI model that describes it, then sends that description together with your selfies to a second AI model that produces a photograph. Both models are operated by third parties.

The output is generated by a machine and is not a photograph of a real moment. It may not look exactly like you. It may contain errors, artefacts or details you did not ask for. It may not match the reference. We do not promise any particular level of likeness, quality, or resemblance, and a result you do not like is still a result — see the Refunds & Cancellation policy for how that affects your credits.

You must not present a generated photograph as an unedited photograph of a real event where doing so would deceive somebody to their detriment, and you must comply with the rules of any platform you post it to, including any requirement to label AI-generated images.

Access is sold as a subscription. Each billing cycle grants 40 credits, and one credit produces one finished photo.

• Credits do not expire while your account exists.
• A generation that fails does not cost a credit. If the provider errors or the request is rejected, nothing is charged.
• A generation that succeeds costs a credit even if you dislike the result. The cost of producing it has already been incurred.
• Credits have no cash value and cannot be transferred, sold or refunded for money.

Prices are shown in US dollars. Depending on your bank and card, the amount that appears on your statement may be converted into your local currency, and conversion fees may apply. Those fees are set by Stripe and your bank, not by us.

You agree not to:

• generate images of any person other than yourself, or attempt to impersonate anyone;
• create content that is sexual, harassing, hateful, defamatory, or that depicts a real person in a false and damaging light;
• use the service to create material for fraud, catfishing, or any other deception;
• attempt to bypass credit limits, rate limits, moderation, or any other technical control;
• scrape, resell, or provide the service to third parties as though it were your own;
• attempt to gain access to another account, or to data that is not yours.

You keep ownership of the photographs you upload. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to store them, to send them to the providers listed in our Privacy Policy, and to process them for the sole purpose of producing your photos and operating your account. That licence exists only so the service can run, and it ends when you delete the content or your account.

Subject to your compliance with these terms, the photographs Glowy generates for you are yours to use, including commercially. Note that the underlying models are run by third parties whose own terms may also apply to the output.

Glowy’s name, mark, design and software remain ours. Nothing here gives you a licence to them.

We may review content that is reported to us, and we may remove a generated photograph where it breaks these terms. We keep a record that a decision was made, along with the associated billing record, but not the removed content itself.

We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms — immediately and without notice where the breach involves another person’s likeness, a minor, or illegal content. A suspended account cannot use the service. If you think a suspension is a mistake, email glowy.pics@gmail.com.

You may stop using Glowy at any time. Cancelling is covered in the Refunds & Cancellation policy.

We provide the service as it is, and we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or free of faults. It depends on third-party providers, and if one of them is unavailable, so is the part of Glowy that uses it. We may change, suspend or discontinue features. If we discontinue the service altogether we will give account holders reasonable notice and a chance to download their photographs.

To the fullest extent the law allows, the service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability to you arising out of or in connection with this agreement is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose, or US$50. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, loss of data, or loss of reputation.

Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited — including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for any of your statutory rights as a consumer that cannot be waived.

You agree to indemnify One Man Holdings LLC against claims, losses and reasonable legal costs arising from your breach of these terms — in particular from uploading a photograph of somebody who did not consent to it, or from how you use a generated image.

We may update these terms. If a change materially affects your rights we will update the effective date and notify account holders by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that is acceptance of the revised terms.

This agreement is governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which One Man Holdings LLC is registered, and the courts of that jurisdiction have non-exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute. This does not deprive you of the protection of any mandatory consumer law of the country in which you live.
